Guide - Google Lens on Any Android Phone! - How to Get it? - Full Review

Google lens on any phone
Google lens is one of the most awaited product from the Google I/O -2017.
The wait ends to an extent from the pixel devices that too in a development mode!

Even though google had restricted it as a pixel exclusive, we can tweak our devices to make it work in our google photos app too. By doing this you can even have access to few pixel exclusive apps in playstore like the old pixel launcher!

********* Disclaimer : Root Required and involves editing in build.prop *********

Earlier when google launched the google assistant, it is a pixel exclusive and the same method worked to access the google assistant on all devices (>= Android M). That worked pretty well.
Now its time for the google lens to slip into your device by editing build properties.

You require a rooted device for this and Nougat ROM (Not tested on Marshmallow).

How could it even be possible ?

Well, we may not be able to buy the brand new pixel devices. But, we can tweak the google photos app to make it believe that we are using the pixels by adding an xml file.

The Method : (also includes how to remove it!)

Just download the zip file and flash it through your custom recovery or by any other means.
**Works on any device**

 Review :
As it is still in beta stage, there isn't the full potential for it!
But, it can do some amazing things like scanning cards and photos!
It gives a best guess on what the picture is about.

The features I liked are recognizing urls in photos (Even not very clear) and suggestion to open them using chrome and scanning ID cards and prompting a suggestion to add the phone no. or email to contact or visit the website and even to compose a mail if it finds a mail id. The dates are also observed and an option to add them to calender is out. I'll drop a few photos below...

My overall experience is pretty good with it and I found it very handy with the work just in one day of using it.

Drop a comment and let me know if you have any doubts or issues with this. :)
